We unloaded the bedding box, braced it on its side, and settled her -- Bob is a female -- inside. After a few minutes Bob emerged, sniffed the air, and went on the hunt in the leaf litter. Mel caught her for one last cuddle and released her, and we watched Bob waddle off into the trees.
I took many photos and provided a shoulder for crying upon. Good luck, Bob. It's been an interesting nine months.
