Long Tan

On this day 50 years ago, a company of 120 Australian soldiers met a division of North Vietnam Regulars in a rubber plantation named Long Tan. 16 Aussies died but an unknown number of North Viet Regulars were wounded and killed, mainly due to clever artillery by the NZ gunners.
