Around The World In 80 Beers episode 157: Coopers Premium Light
A light beer? Am I drinking responsibly?

Pours a pale amber with a small head that fades away rapidly. Quite a few bubbles in the glass.

First sip: Mild amounts of grainy malts, with a mild amount of hops bitterness which fades away quickly. Nice carbonation tingle on the tongue. Mouth-feel is thin and watery.

In a word, boring. Today is rather hot and this make a nice refreshing drink. It's quite drinkable; one you could drink a lot of, but don't expect anything exceptional. This is one of the better light lagers.

Same again, sir? No.

There's more malt, hops, flavor and booze in a single bottle of Hairy Eyeball than in a 6 pack of that light fizzy stuff. Granted H.E. comes in an imperial pint bottle helps, but still :P

Addeding that a good medium bodied Wheat or IPA is my preference for a hot day...

I don't normally drink light brews; I'd rather drink a good ginger beer instead.

BUT, this project was to try all beers, and that includes Lights. I think the <a href="http://dewhitton.livejournal.com/1088072.html>Clausthaler Classic</a> <0.5% is the best unleaded brew. I stick to Tooheys Old for my normal drinking.
