Pours a very deep brown/black with a small head, which fades away fast. A lot of bubbles on the surface.
First Sip: Sweet, slightly malty, mildly vanilla-ey with a lot of dark chocolate and coffee flavours, and a mild hops bitterness on the back of the tongue. Mouth-feel is smooth if a little thin. Very faint carbonation tingle on the tongue. The tastes become more prominent as the stout warms.
This stout is best served at cellar temperatures, not chilled. It is highly drinkable, and goes down easily. Very easily. I feel like opening another bottle immediately. Must pace myself! It's very yummy.
