Pours a clear golden colour, with moderate carbonation visible. The head is large and bubbly, and faded away to a nice lacing.
First sip: Mildly malty and yeasty, with a faint lemony taste. Hops is mild and lingers for a little while. Mouth feel is smooth but a little fizzy on the tongue.
I forgot this was a Coopers and emptied the bottle into the glass after I'd had a few sips, and dumped a heap of cloudy yeast into the glass. It muddied the look of the beer but did not affect the taste much - a little more yeasty but just as nice.
This is a good beer, a yummy beer, but not as good as the Coopers Sparkling Ale. It's a nice English Pale.
