Around The World In 80 Beers Episode 91: Timmermans Framboise

I don't normally go for fruit in beer, but someone said Lambic is good. So...

Timmermans Framoise Lambic

Pours a deep red. The head is medium-sized, foamy and... pink.

First sip: Fruit! Very fruity. Sweet raspberry up front, modified by a little sourness. Mouth-feel is watery with a lot of carbonation tingles on the tongue.

This is a lot like drinking a cider, but with raspberries instead of apples or pears. It is nice and refreshing. But when you are expecting beer it is a bit of a shock to the system. This would be excellent chilled on a really hot day. Oh look! Summer is coming!
