Pours a very deep, dark cloudy brown with a large tan head. (pouring fail again.)
First Sip: Strong malt up front, with a dark toast and caramel flavour mixed in. Almost no hops bitterness. Mouth feel is creamy and slightly astringent, with a slight carbonation tingle.
Another yummy weissbier from Germany. This dunkel is dark and thick and heavy and warming -- perfect for a cold winter's day. I can see myself sitting in front of the fire, sipping this as I clean my raygun after a day of hunting bunyips* and rogue monotremes.
