Pours a clear golden yellow with a fair amount of carbonation. A large fluffy head fades away slowly.
First sip: Sweet and malty is the main flavour, with some fruitiness and a very faint, lingering hops, and a faint yeast. A little frothy carbonation tingle on the tongue.
This beer has none of the yeastiness of the previous Weihenstephaner wheat beers. The all-over flavour is quite mild and yet it is still very drinkable. Yet anonther very yummy wheat beer.
I seriously regret waiting this long to try wheat beers. If this Beer Quest has done anything, it has let me discover excellent beer -- and some nasty ones -- that I would have never tried normally. I am sorry this blog has turned into a snobby bogan's beer blog, but I am not sorry I am drinking these beers.
