Mythos Hellenic Lager pour a very pale golden gold, almost as pale as Efes. It has a small white head that lasts for a long time and fades slowly.
First sip: A very mild malt, with hints of hops that don't hang around but leaves a dry finish. Very smooth but light, nice mouth-feel and doesn't taste watery, and carbonation tingles on the tongue.
Mythos is a little bland, but what you'd expect from a Pale Eurolager. It could be a lot worse; they could have used rice in the mash. This lager has none of the grain taste that spoils* beers. It would go well washing down a beef kebab with sweet chilli sauce. Or a bbq on a really hot day.
