ccdesan and thefoxaroo met a little forest bat I've had in care since Thursday. They will tell you that she was active and fat and hungry and chewed through meal worms at a great rate. If I didn't get the meal worms to her in time she'd latch on to anything that smelled vaguely wormy - the cloth or my gloves - and refuse to let go.
Some time during the night she died. I've no idea why. I planned to release her today.
I know I can't save them all but she was healthy enough to release, buggerit.
