Around The World In 80 Beers Episode 152: Skye Black

Skye Black

Pours a very dark brown with smallish head. Not much gas (or anything) is visible in the murky depths.

First Sip: Sweet dark roasted malts, with a little coffee and dark chocolate sweetened with honey. Very faint astringent after-taste and hops bitterness. Mouth-feel is medium and a little foamy. Nice warming feeling in the belly. The malts become stronger as the beer warms in the glass.

This is another yummy dark beer. Today has been wet and cool, and this makes an excellent end to the day. I am sitting here in a warm room, with a belly full of sweet-and-sour pork and getting very mellow. I could do this all day. I wish someone would pay me to do this.
