Narfing Brilliant stuff!

Love the bikes, the leaky Bentley and everything, well, maybe excepting the Europa, never much liked that thing :P

Thank you for posting all this!

Love the lot, but particularly the Isetta!

So what was the car in the 1928 showroom? A certain motoring younger son of a baronet wants to know.

I don't know the model of that model. I was in a moving cart about 6 feet from the diorama at the time so I couldn't pause to look.

That Bentley looks frigging vicious. Seriously that is definitely a bad guy car. The guy in that car is going to run you right down and if that doesn't work then he is going to radio for a biplane to bomb you instead.

Harley-Davidson logo was terrible, wasn't it? Mind you, their current one is not great. (When it comes to motorbikes, I like Kawasaki's logo. Yeah, it's just Helvetica - that's probably why I like it. I guess there weren't so many historical Kawasaki bikes around though. :)

And Morgan still make that same car. :) Well, okay, not quite, but they do make a silly-looking three wheeler. http://www.morgan3wheeler.co.uk/news.php?id=42

You sound like you're having all the fun to be had. :) Have a little inspiration to have more, direct from the plane tree outside my front window. :)

Purely for fun, that nest overhangs a reasonably busy sidewalk. We shall hope the parents are the calm sort of bird, and that they only laid as many eggs as the nest can hold chicks. ;)

Oh dear! The Peewee Mafia have found you.

They usually lay 4 eggs, and end up raising 3 chicks - 4 in a good year but typically the smallest chick is sacrificed. Nature is not fluffy at all.

Let me know if you end up with one. I have a feed mix you can use to raise them.

*flaps hands in protest.*

I can't imagine having the time to raise a demanding chick; I wish your folks had someone out this way. (Though I suppose if it comes to it, I might have to BECOME that "someone out this way." I can't imagine WALKING AWAY from a tiny hurt chick, either.) I'll keep my eye on them and my fingers crossed.
