A movie set in Australia, starring Australian animals, with no Australian voice actors in the trailer. *

I think I'll wait for it to come to free-to-air tv.

*edit: IMDB says there are no Australian voice actors. The closest to an Aussie is Brett Mackenzie from New Zealand.

Wow. That's interesting and unusual.

"The closest to an Aussie is Brett Mackenzie from New Zealand."

Should he some how win an Oscar then we can adopted him :)

He has just won an Oscar! He wrote "Man or Muppet" for the new Muppet movie, and won the Oscar for Best Song.

as an animator, this looks like crap. note the rather blatant rip-off of the mini-plot line of Scritt and the acorn from "Ice Age".
checked out the animation company: boy oh boy...it's a shameless LIE when they say they did "Garfield the Movie"...in fact they just did some made-for-tv "Garfield Gets Real" and a couple others.
what i really love is their FIRST film where they can't decide if they're stealing from "Finding Nemo" or "Shark's Tale": Shark Bait.

favourite user review comment: "...Yes, Shark Bait truly is that bad in fact it could well be looked at as a new low for animation as a whole."

The crap animation turned me off, the bad accents turned me off, the scenery that looks like the Grand Canyon turned me off (haven't they SEEN the Outback?) and, the final turn-off was the fight scene "dook-a-dook-a-dook-a" sound effect ripped directly from most Hanna Barbara cartoons.

I think I will avoid this one.

I don't think I'll bother at all

I was talking to feychildthe about this on FB and Skype this afternoon. As you know she's going to be graduating from her digital animation programme this May. She had this to say about it:

"[4:58:07 PM] The Feychild: Lol, It's weird that it's sorta similar to the demo-reel that I'm working on. Except that I'm putting effort into it."

Where's that "like" button?

sad thing is with a bit of actual effort I'm sure they could do something amazing. They seem to have put a lot of work into being mediocre at best.
